Trench Rollers

EVEN IN THE TRENCHES, WE DELIVER.

Introducing the new Bobcat Trench roller, a powerful vibratory machine that delivers unbeatable compaction in difficult terrains.

Reliable Compaction Results with Remote Operation

For exceptional compaction performance in challenging conditions, you need the right tool for the job. Bobcat® trench rollers achieve ideal compaction results on a wide range of materials, including cohesive soil types.

Bobcat trench rollers are remotely controlled so you can take on tough compaction tasks from a comfortable distance away. These vibratory compactors are ideal for a variety of challenging applications including pipeline construction, structural backfill work as well as commercial, industrial and residential development.

Stay out of the trenches, outsmart operator fatigue and leave behind consistent, high compaction results - every time - with a versatile, remote-controlled Bobcat trench roller.

Solar-Powered Remote Control

Operated by remote control, Bobcat trench rollers deliver powerful compaction results. With a working range of up to 60 feet, the remote control eliminates operator fatigue associated with the manual operation of other compaction equipment. Because the remote control is solar powered, there is no need for daily charges.

Two Amplitude Settings

With two amplitude settings and centrifugal weights in each drum, Bobcat trench rollers deliver exceptional compaction performance on a variety of soils and a wide range of jobsite applications including pipeline trench construction, residential, commercial and industrial development and structural backfill work.

Articulated Joint With Oscillation

Bobcat trench rollers feature a low center of gravity and an oscillating articulated joint that increases stability and maneuverability. The oscillating articulated joint also allows the drums to maintain more complete contact on uneven ground. The articulated joint is controlled by two hydraulic cylinders that support a tight turning radius. The machine’s 14-degree range of oscillation keeps the drums in more complete contact on uneven ground for more efficient transfer of compaction energy.

Padfoot Drums With Standard Extensions

Bobcat trench rollers come standard with drum extensions that bring the dual vibratory drums to a width of 33.5 inches. The padfoot drums compress material for increased penetration in cohesive soils or dense clay.

Easy, Routine Maintenance

The hoods on Bobcat trench rollers open easily and wide from the middle of the machines, making access to service points convenient and quick. Daily maintenance checks are tool free, making more time for jobsite compaction. No need to reach under the trench rollers for any service points. The greaseless articulation joints require no maintenance.
