Community Guidelines
Bobcat Company social media channels are a place where we invite you to share in the celebration of Bobcat’s history, brand, people and products. While engaging in conversation between Bobcat® and our fans, we ask that your dialogue respect the following community guidelines.
- Please respect the other members of our community. This includes refraining from any inappropriate tones that portray profane language, harassment, threats, or any content that seems demeaning to any part of the community. We encourage positive interaction, but we claim our right to remove any comments, posts or banning individuals completely.
- We encourage conversation and interaction, not spam. Any posts that appear to be off topic or spam will be subject to deletion. If you need to talk to Bobcat Company about a technical product concern your dealer can't resolve, or other customer service related issues, please contact us in the U.S. at: 1-800-743-4340 or visit: http://www.bobcat.com/forms/contact_service.
- At Bobcat Company, we take safety seriously. Because of that, we will remove videos and pictures that depict unsafe acts involving the operation or maintenance of equipment, including misuse or unapproved modifications. Please understand that content posted to this page by third parties does not represent the positions of Bobcat Company. Always review training resources, including decals, handbooks and manuals before working with Bobcat equipment.
- Bobcat Company social pages may contain links to web sites operated by other parties. Such links do not imply Bobcat's endorsement of material on any other site.
- You give permission to Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc. (the “Company”) to use any items and materials submitted by me, including but not limited to my likeness and background or experience story in written, photograph, video, or other media, regardless of the media format (“My Information and Image”) in any and all of its publications, including written, video and web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. I understand and agree that My Information and Image will become the property of the Company and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize the Company to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute My Information and Image for any lawful purpose, or, in the Company’s sole discretion, not to use any of the aforementioned. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein My Information and Image appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of My Information and Image.
- You agree that Bobcat Company has a conclusive, royalty-free right to use and disclose as well as to allow others to use and disclose the content and material you choose to post on our social pages.
- Bobcat and the Bobcat logo are registered trademarks of Bobcat Company in the United States and various other countries. Unauthorized use of any Bobcat Company trademarks may be a violation of federal and state trademark laws. Bobcat reserves the right to remove any material or content that may infringe upon the intellectual property of others.
- Since Bobcat Company invented the skid-steer loader more than 60 years ago – and created the compact equipment industry along with it – some people mistakenly call any skid-steer “a Bobcat.” Well, just like all skid-steers aren’t created equal, not all skid-steer loaders carry the Bobcat brand. Never use the word “Bobcat” as a noun. Instead, always use the brand name as an adjective, as in "a Bobcat skid-steer loader".
