Colorado Concrete Company Stays Solid With Bobcat Machines

  • Eric Niemann started Rocky Mountain Stonecrete in 2006 with rental Bobcat® equipment. 
  • As time went on, he stuck with Bobcat machines and now owns two skid-steer loaders – an S590 and an S66 – two E35 excavators, an MT100, MT52 and various attachments. 
  • He oversees a crew of eight, many of whom have been with him over a decade. 
  • Eric’s sons have both been active in the business. His younger son currently works as part of his crew. 

Eric Niemann and his team at Rocky Mountain Stonecrete take on jobs that scare other contractors. Their reputation for taking on challenging projects has grown since the company started nearly 20 years ago.  

Eric Niemann started Rocky Mountain Stonecrete, a concrete business based in Parker, Colorado, back in 2006. His crew of eight almost feels like a family at this point. Most have been with him for almost a decade, some nearly two decades. And with one son who joins him on the jobsite and another in the Marines, he hopes the family business will continue on.  

“We take on the hardest jobs that nobody else will even dare do,” Eric says, highlighting his company's willingness to push the limits. Currently, they are working on several high-profile projects, including nine Denver Public Schools and the restoration of a historic building in Central City.
